Ren (they/them) is an artist and registered nurse located in Toronto. Their creative practice is multimedia and informed by the mix of identities and experiences that come together to form their whole self.Through the exploration and combination of a wide variety of materials (including wood, paint, ink, textiles, and digital graphic design), they build handcrafted objects that are both beautiful and functional. They are particularly interested in creating Judaica that honours complex Jewish identities, and in exploring the natural materials present on the land around them.
